Make a 3D Printed Cylinder Seal – Roller Stamp

In this video we have created a 3D Printed Cylinder Seal, a device originally invented in Mesopotamia more than 5.500 years ago.

You can support us on Patreon here

It will be composed by two parts. The first will be the cylinder itself that we have printed in white PLA, and the second part is the handle, designed to change cylinders in an easy way, and we printed in red PLA.

The hole process is divided in 5 parts that we could summarise in this list:

  1. Create a base image and prepare it for the 3D Production
  2. Model in 3D the engraved cylinder
  3. Make a hole on it for the axis
  4. Model in 3D the handle
  5. 3D Print and assembly

You can download the FILES that I've announced in the video clicking here.
Included:

  • STL of the whole Assembly
  • STL of the Cylinder ready to print
  • STL of the Handle ready to print
  • 3DM file of the final design ready to modify
